Lydia Nicole is an award-winning actress-comedienne-writer-producer-motivational speaker who has been in show business for over 40 years. She made her acting debut in The Jeffersons, Hollywood Shuffle, and Stand and Deliver. And producing credits include, Making the Five Heartbeats, Playin’ For Love, Los Americans, and Why We Laugh.  She also co-founded and produced the first Latina stand up show, the Hot & Spicy Mamitas. As well as starring in, “A Rose Grows in Spanish Harlem”, a coming of age solo show of a half Black, half Puerto Rican girl whose father’s a pimp, mother’s a prostitute and caretaker’s a drag queen.

Having been mentored and supported by industry pioneers like Hal Jackson, Frankie Crocker, Max Julien, Roy London and Robert Townsend, Lydia gives back to the industry through her Common Sense Mamita Show helping creatives navigate through Hollywood with success using her humor, experience, and wisdom.
